How NYRezone works
Look up a lot
Type an address in the five boroughs on the map, or click a lot. A link with /map?bbl= and a 10-digit borough-block-lot number opens that lot directly.
What the free map shows
- The zoning district, special district and recorded floor-area ratio (FAR) from MapPLUTO.
- The floor area the district allows, and a larger figure where an affordable-housing bonus may apply.
- A 3D estimate of the building envelope.
What the $49 report adds
A one-time purchase for one lot, paid through Stripe, with a PDF to keep. It adds:
- City of Yes programs that may apply to the lot.
- Unused floor area against what the district allows.
- A distress score from city records, with each signal named.
- The FEMA flood zone and any commercial overlay.
- The current owner and the last recorded deed.
Where the data comes from
NYC Department of City Planning MapPLUTO and zoning maps, ACRIS deeds and other NYC Open Data sets. The figures are estimates from public records, not city approvals. The methodology page lists each source and what is not modeled.
